• We have formed a Stakeholder Advisory Committee including both citrus producers and cooperative extension personnel from Florida, Texas and California. Current members include:
  • Dr. Sheng-Yang He. Dr. He is Benjamin E. Powell Distinguished Professor at Duke University. He is a member of the National Academy of Science. Dr. He's research focused on inter-organismal communication and co-evolution of plants and microbes.
  • Mr. Morgan Porter. Mr. Porter is the president of Citrus Research & Development Foundation (CRDF), FL.
  • Dr. Fatemeh Khodadadi. Dr. Khodadadi is an assistant professor of extension and assistant plant pathologist at the Department of Microbiology & Plant Pathology, University of California Riverside. Her research focuses on plant pathogen diagnostics and detection.
  • Dr. Mamoudou Setamou. Dr. Setamou is a professor at Texas A&M University-Kingsville and Executive Director of Citrus Center. Dr. S�tamou has spent his entire career conducting research on the Asian citrus psyllid and HLB in Texas and has been at the forefront of the first detection of HLB in commercial citrus groves in Texas. He has worked and continues to work, closely with the Texas citrus industry to develop and implement an area-wide management program for psyllid control to mitigate the spread of HLB in the state. Dr. Peter McClure. Dr. McClure is a lifelong Florida citrus grower and manager. He was the Chairman of the Florida Citrus Production Research Advisory Council.
  • Mr. Weston Johnson. Mr. Johnson is a senior citrus scientist at the Coca-Cola Company.
  • Dr. Vance Whitaker. Dr. Whitaker is a professor at UF/IFAS Gulf Coast Research and Education Center. His research focuses on plant breeding and genetics.
  • Mr. Robin Bryant. Mr. Bryant is the executive director of the Florida citrus processors association (FCPA).
  • Mr. George F. Hammer. Mr. Hammer is the President of Indian River Exchange Packers, Inc.
